Am I burnt out?

Lately I’ve been thinking: “What if I sold all my collections?” “I don’t need this many photocards; imagine how much money I could make if I sold them and put it towards my ult.” “This is too many cards and it’s getting overwhelming.” I’ve done many downsizing collections and got rid of collections as well. I’m starting to look at all the photocards I once loved and wanted to collect as a source of income I could put towards my one collection I’ve been keeping up with. I’ve sold a few photocards that I cherished at one point but once I sold them, I didn’t really miss them anymore. Now, when I look at the rest of my photocards, I can’t help but wonder, should I put them up? Which makes me think, I’m starting to get tired of collecting. Of course, I’ll be keeping the ones I love and it could be that I’m broke as well. I’m not too sure what I should do. I feel like I only open certain binders when I either want to trade or sell which makes me think my photocards should go to a loving new collection. I’ve been collecting since 2022 and I still love collecting, even if i’m starting to slow down. I have no clue and I don’t know if this makes sense. I’m not sure if it’s the amount of photocards I have and it gets overwhelming or it’s the I don’t look at them there for I don’t need them. If you have any advice or comments, I’d love to hear them.

Recently I realized how many cards I keep that I really don’t care for. That made me start selling them and I haven’t missed them, since I’ve bought cards I actually love with the money I’ve made. If I were you, I would slowly sell the cards I cared the least about and maybe buy fewer cards/albums too. After a bit, maybe you’ll miss collecting or maybe you won’t. If you don’t, keep selling, but if you do, maybe just be more picky about the cards/albums you buy, so you know you’ll actually appreciate what you get and you don’t get overwhelmed with all the constant comebacks since you’re being more selective!

Yeah, it’s getting more overwhelming to collect with so many versions of each album, and sometimes it’s hard to focus on the groups you really like when there are so many other groups coming back all the time. I’m trying to be more selective these days too and trying to buy just the cards I really like secondhand instead of buying a bunch of the same album!
