Okeyyyy no judging here just opinions!! I’ll start: • Cortis is lwk overrated and I think their songs are very similar to each other • Arno from ald1 is one of the best 5th gen dancers • Wonhee IS the 5th gen it girl • Lemonade is lwk aespas prime • Spaghetti by le sserafim isn’t bad its just different

I disagree with some of urs, but we don't all have to agree! Here's mine: ・Aespa needs to disband. As a my, I can tell they are so done with being an idol 😭 ・NewJeans songs are boring sounds like it's made solely to go viral on TikTok (this one might get me cooked 😭) ・Blackpink should disband. They just don't rly fit super well with each other anymore, and imo they make better solo music then group music ・The BTS disband party thing is taking it a little to far. I definitely don't think they should have nearly as much fame as they do considering their controversies, but this BTS disband party thing is getting wayyyy to out of hand, why is everyone involved in that so dang rude? 😭 ・Idk if anyone else sees these videos, but those "_ months of experience vs. 13 yrs of experience" videos talking abt BTS are so stupid. U can't choose one groups best clips and put them beside another groups worst clips and then shame BTS for it 😭 I don't like BTS either but I mean that's just not right I have more but I'm gonna stop before I get slimed out 🤠🥀

i don’t agree with cortis but your opinion!! some of my hot takes are.. -aespa needs to disband, the group is lowk falling apart. yes the music is good but the girls look tired of it. -annie didn’t “buy” the daesang, her parents never wanted her to be an idol, why would they buy an award for her being one? -hybe is ruining kpop, it’s not kpop anymore. every comeback is something DRASTICALLY different from the other. i do like concept changes, not every week tho 😭. - the public generally favorites male groups. take kiss of life for example they did the live and ruined their careers. however other MALE groups are being excused for such behavior, “oh they don’t know what it means”, “they don’t know korean”. yeah and kiss of life was forced by their management? i’m not trying to bring down male groups, it just sad to see that women in this industry get all the smoke while men still gain support. 😔

ooh lowkey agree with the hybe one. i don’t really listen to allot of hybe groups, so maybe it’s different with their b-sides, but judging from the recent title tracks i am confused… (also feel like it’s not every hybe groups, maybe just the most popular ones, but like i said i don’t really know since i don’t really listen to hybe groups)

Yes the male glaze is crazy tbh and I’m so tired of it. I agree with all your opinions especially the Hybe one. It feels really painful to agree on the aespa one since aespa is my ult group but they do look tired of it and then it’s genuinely just best for them to disband

I definitely agree with your opinion on Cortis! They just debuted and people already think they’re the peak of k-pop. I also think Babymonster’s overrated and YG buys views for them on YouTube. And I think that a toxic fandom can absolutely ruin a group as with Enhypen.

my hot take is that some of the vocals have just not been it… i don’t really like that in more recent gens there has been more of a focused on performance. i understand that the performance/dancing has always been a big part of kpop, but it feels like that recently it has been at the expense of the vocals. at the end of the day what these idols are selling to you is music. when i am listening to a song i’m not seeing the performance, the visuals of the mv and all that extra. i also understand that not every idol is the main vocalist of the groups and some focus more on dance. but if the main thing that you are selling to me is music, you have to atleast be a decent vocalist with basic understanding of vocal technique. my main problem is that some idols are just not good vocalist at all 🫣 i literally once unstanned a group because i couldn’t get over the lack of good (or at least decent) vocalists in the group. it came to a point i didn’t even like how some of them sounded of the recorded track on spotify, which is a shame because the group had some genuinely good songs with interesting production.

yes! omg, when you look at the older gens they didn’t care if their dance was trending on tt, they served vocals and i love it 😩
