Concept photocard opinion 😋

I feel like collectors in general aren't the biggest fans of concept photocards 🙈 Most of us prefer selfie PCs and don't really trade for or buy concept cards.. But personally, even though I'm really picky with them, sometimes they just work SO well, and I love that 👀 I collect multiple members and use a 4-pocket binder, so I love having three members next to each other with cards that match, whether it's members from the same album or cards that just go together visually I just LOVE when the whole page feels cohesive 🀭 I especially love concept cards that show the same outfit, hairstyle, or accessories as the selfie PC Like, if they have a really noticeable green top, blonde hair, or a specific hat, I love being able to see those details in both cards 🥹 You get the outfit in the concept card and then the close-up in the selfie PC, and it just makes the whole page look so pretty 😩 I love when the cards feel like they were meant to go together, especially when the pictures have a similar composition or are taken in the same setting STOP PSA : THIS is what I mean by I LOVVE concept pc (image) cause this page of my binders looks GOOD, however if those aren't considered concept pc a d only the ugly one are.. theeen I take EVERYTHING back lol NEMO ALBUMS (version where you get ot members set) ARE A BIG NO CONCEPT PC WISE. Most of the time those are UUUGLY ahhhh picture from the fuh m/v.. Doesn't match ANY pcs and just looks OFF asf

Based on what groups concept cards 😭😭 I do like collecting illit and twice concept photos but not boygroups or like aespa 😭

Yk what, I actually checked the pcs and YEAHHH aespa are just photoshoot pic that could've been in the photobook while illit ones and most of the twice one are rly cute and fun, they rly feel personal and I don't think we could see them else where 😭 Idk if you get what I mean tho 🀧

Yess, that's what I meant!! They're fun to collect, and even twice comes in a set and it's reaaally cheap that's why I do like collecting those!! (I still didn't add the latest thay i bought😭)

I do think there's a time and place for concept pcs. I think season's greetings concept pcs are generally better than preorder/album pcs, maybe bcs they're all taken in one/ two photoshoots for cohesion. However, one album that stands out for me with concept pcs is Irene and Seulgi's tilt! I will forever defend them until I die they're so good

Yeah! Cohésion is the exact word 🙈 I didn’t know what the concept PCs for Seulgi’s Tilt album looked like, so I checked, and even though the pictures are AMAZING, they do give more of a photoshoot vibe. It’s kind of giving photobook, or at the very least, posters 😭 One of the close-ups looks SO good as a PC. Like, it’s already a concept PC, but the close-up really works. I don’t know, there’s just something about the rest of them that feels a little off to me. The white background is definitely what gives me that vibe. It’s kind of like Yeonjun’s NO LABELS: PART 01 SET-UP B version, which comes with a 36-card set. Even though it’s super cool, the cards basically feel more like a photobook in card format, especially with the plain backgrounds. And there’s no real selfie-card vibe in the main card set 😭
