it depends with me if it’s a group i love i’ll buy the albums as a set. if i’m a casual listener of them i watch unboxing videos and decide which album i prefer
When I was better off financially I bought them all at once but now I go one version at a time. Rarely buy albums anymore tbh, they're just too expensive. It breaks my heart that I cant afford most of my hobbies anymore.
i usually just buy one - i think it’s a good compromise between wanting to collect but not wanting to contribute too much to overconsumption! also my main interest is collecting cds so i don’t feel like i really would get anything out of having multiple since all the cds would have the same music lol
I totally get what you mean—buying multiple versions can feel like a waste of money, and I used to think the same way. But after I bought my first full set, I noticed how much it elevated my collection, both visually and in terms of the overall quality. Having all the versions together just makes it feel more complete! Of course, it really depends on what you enjoy and what fits your budget.
for my ults i try to buy all the versions (and my bias for member versions) and for other groups i stan i try to just buy one version. but sometimes the designs are too cute i end up buying multiple versions anyway lol
