Okay so first things first, for me Katseye IS k-pop, and like.. it's such a non issue anyways 🤧
Their songs are catchy but they've always been marked as a kind of party/concerts type of things and they are performers themselves so obviously the songs are gonna be like this (if you see what I'm trying to explain lol 😭)
They are oversexualised but they tend to lean to the western style for that and yeah kpop stan can be shocked but that's not something new, I am personally not surprised 🤷🏻♀️
And, as long as they are confortable w it, which they for the most part they seem to be, I feel like that's totally fine nowadays and those type of fit should be normalised anyway, if that was for a men no one would bat an eye
The hiatus situation is rly bad tho but over all I am just looking forward what they'll become/do in the future!
Hybe has been trying to get overseas more and more and it's working, kpop hate is still there tho and that's why people are saying they aren't kpop, kind of like if they were they wouldn't listen to them yk
I hope they'll help w that and that we'll be able to see them in better condition all together 💕

I feel like they're super talented, but the oversexualizing got to be too much for me with Hootie Frutti😭😭😭I think it's a good song, it's just the fact that they cater to a younger fanbase makes the whole thing feel kinda icky for me. I love and support all the girls and I'm not blaming them in any way for the direction they're going, I'm just personally uncomfortable interacting with that type of content. It's been getting harder for me to interact with Eyekons as well lately due to how toxic and split the fandom is getting. Not just over Manon, but all the obsessive elementary kids that seem to be haunting every Katseye post I click on as well

I don't support the hate for their songs, I actually like them, but I feel like the company over-sexualizes them too much sometimes. They have a lot of talent and I think sometimes people focus more on their bodies than their talent. But I really like their vibe and their songs too, although sometimes I don't like them at first until I get used to them and they get stuck in my head hahaha 😅😅

I don't get the hate for gnarly, internet girl,... groups often, if not always, try out new styles/genres and I personally LOVE the noisy kinda music. I understand it's not for everyone but the hate I've heard from some people I feel like is too much... Also I hope that Manon is going to return to the group, all news and updates I read are just too vague and even confusing at times...
